Dame Pat McGrath built an international career across runway, editorial and cosmetics. Her Maison Margiela Artisanal 2024 porcelain-skin work is a documented landmark, not a generic Paris trend: Vogue published her account of the techniques and preparation behind the show. She founded Pat McGrath Labs in 2015 and received a damehood in the 2021 New Year Honours.
